1. Shot video with my digital camera. WAY easier than I thought it would be. Why have I been videotaping my practice sessions on VHS all this time?
2. Finding editing software for free or cheap has been challenging. I found one I can use free for 21 days. But I'm hesitant to pay the $40 registration to use it longer because while it edits great, it won't convert the AVI to MPEG.
3. Tried to upload the new edited AVI video. When LJ hosts it, it only plays sound and no picture. Tried hosting it on Comcast, same problem, no picture and only sound.
4. Some one suggested I need to convert it to MPEG4 to host it anywhere online. Can't find a free converter. Why should I pay to convert video when I already paid $300 for the darn camera so I can shoot the video?! *grumble*
Anyway, I won't be posting any video of me doing those new inverted tricks, thanks to the complication involved. But I am posting 16 seconds of a cute little pole dancing blooper below the cut. During my practice, Meushi jumped off the bed and walked right into my path. I didn't see her and we collided. I'm such a pro though, heh. Once I saw she was okay I just kept going:
The "Trial Version - Please Register" text across the screen is due to the problem described above.
I need help getting video edited/converted/uploaded. Isn't there some way to upload and host AVI? Suggestions please!
