Girl who dances in a cage

Next time we'll rent a comedy

Last night would normally be considered ideal: Epic historical romance movie (complete with costumes) projected onto a 4 foot wide screen at the base of our cozy bed, hot boy snuggles, pumpkin ice cream served with hot pero, and going home with hugs and a new black PVC jacket (thank you to the friend who gave me this wonderful hand-me-down!). But the movie put a bit of a damper on an otherwise ideal evening. Oh my god that movie. I had seen part II of "Tess of the d'Urbervilles" on A&E so I knew it was a sad movie. But pairing it with part I (that I had yet to see) it went from sad to downright depressing. I think I have to make a separate filtered post just to get out how I feel about that movie.
