Well they are hiking boots, or they used to be. I took my hiking boots back to Value Village. They don't take returns, only exchanges. I was hoping to get store credit but they told me they don't do store credit and that I needed to pick something out from the store. With only 30 minutes until the store closed, I ran around trying to find something for my $10 credit.
I scored! I got exactly what I needed for Hawaii which was a pair of those slip on aqua socks that photosexual and emailerin suggested to wear on the beach. Not only were they brand new, but they were so new that they still had the original cardboard and the bunched up tissue paper inside that you find in new shoes at the shoe store.
I still had credit left over after that and I found those awesome stripper shoes above. And I do mean STRIPPER shoes! Check out the $20 bills in them. I love them! They are half a size too small, which makes for that funky look where your toes kind hang off the edge a bit. I can't stand that look. But I'll just have to wear them with some outfit that's so hot that no one will even notice my toes. Now I just have to figure out where to wear them. I'll also have to learn how to walk in them without falling over (which I did several times last night while trying them on).
