I need your opinion please...

I'm going to Feng Shui! Even if you don't know anything about Feng Shui, I'd still like your advice/input on what I'm doing.

I’m moving into a new bedroom tomorrow (Tuesday) night and need to decide on the Feng Shui before my friends arrive at 6:30pm to move my furniture. I have never Fen Shui’ed before, but I’m seeing it make a difference in other people’s lives. My roommate did Feng Shui for love and soon after met the man she is going to marry. A relative had his house professionally Feng Shui’ed and his business soon took off and became more successful.

So who am I to argue with ancient Chinese wisdom? And I need it. After being single for 4 years, I’m ready to try just about anything to bring love into my life.

So here’s my dilemma. My bedroom doubles as a dance studio. I did all the choreography for my last dance solo in my bedroom! I have purchased a large mirror for my new bedroom wall so that I can continue to do this (thanks to butterflake who was able to get it for me wholesale!). But since I want to attract love, the best plan of action seems to be to put the bed in the “relationship corner.” This works well since it is next to a window. It means keeping cooler in the summer. However, it limits my dance space. I was planning on installing a stripper pole in my bedroom (when I can afford it). And my bed I the relationship corner will restrict the amount of floor work I can practice around the pole.

The second option is to move the bed more toward the middle of the room. This will free up a larger dance studio space. More room to dance and choreograph. Definitely enough room for a stripper pole. But this will put my bed into the “family & children” part of the room. I do not want children. I absolutely don’t want to ever be pregnant. It scares the daylights out of me to put my bed in the “family & children” section. I have a friend who put her bed in that space. She attracted a man who is 15 years younger than herself (and is still with him). So I guess having my bed in the “children” section could also mean attracting a younger mate.

There is also the question of what to put in my relationship corner if the bed isn’t there. I need space for either my desk or a large storage cabinet. The cabinet worries me, having something full of junk and craft supplies in my relationship space may not be wise. I’ve heard I can negate this by putting pictures on the cabinet of couples and relationship stuff. But still…using my relationship corner for storage? Seems kind of icky. And the desk isn't any better. I don't want an internet romance, so I don't want my computer in the relationship corner.

So which should I choose? Have my bed in the relationship corner, and a small and somewhat limited dance practice space. Or have a large dance studio space with room for a stripper pole in the future but end up with my bed in the “family” section?
