"Nice pole! Can you do interesting things in a cage too?"
Can I do interesting things in a cage? Can I? Hahahahahahaaaaaa! *falls over* She's in for SUCH a surprise! Obviously she's not familiar with my online name.
And now some GREAT NEWS. There's actually a go-go dancing company in town that rents its girls out to clubs and events. I don't work for them because they categorized me as alternative/goth and their clients want bubbly little sorority girl types (so not me). So I figured I wouldn't be working for them anytime in the future. However a club in Belltown is holding a fetish event in a week and now they want...hehehe...my type. Imagine my surprise when I got an e-mail from them today offering me potential work -- dancing all night in a cage! Squeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!
I'm so happy right now. I worked my ass off to get that first go-go dancing job a couple years ago and so I'm incredibly proud of the fact that I don't have to look for work anymore. Folks in this town know me by reputation now. If they need a dancer they find me and contact me. I don't even have to market myself. I am infinitely proud and happy about this. I love what I do, I take classes and practice in my studio at home to constantly improve my skills, and I'm rewarded better compensation than anything else I've ever done for a living. To love what you do, to strive to always become better at it, and to be in demand for that skill...what more could you ask for? I'm beaming, and even squealing a little. Yay!
