Convenient Living

My soon to be new place is just 10 blocks from:

Pizza Hut
Kinko's (very important when you're running a business)
A Japanese restaurant
A Mexican restaurant
Value Village (I'll be doing a LOT of thrift store shopping now that my rent is about to double!)

There is also a bus stop directly across the street, and the bus can get me downtown in 30 minutes (you never want to drive downtown, there's no parking).

It also happens to be just a 5 minute drive from all 3 banks that I bank with. I was worried there wouldn't be anywhere else in Seattle where that was the case.

This is really the ultimate in convenient living. My only regret is that it is nowhere near a Trader Joe's. I shop there 2 or 3 times a week and I'll have to learn to cut it down to once per week since it's a bit of a drive now. Whole Foods is also nowhere near me. But it's not near me in my current place either, so that's not a change.

Just a little reminder to myself of why I'm paying so much to live in the same building as my studio. And I'll be walking distance from the grocery store. So when gas reaches this price in Seattle, I'll be driving maybe once per week at the most.
