not so sure anymore

I am feeling uneasy about the $3,000 work/live space. Because of the 12 1/2 foot ceilings, I will have to pay about around $2000 to $3000 for custom poles (actual price depends on what a contractor will charge me to put them up). There are also 5 10 foot high windows that will need custom light blocking curtains made. I can only guess that might cost $1000 or twice that. And I will need to put in custom flooring, most likely something soft like a mat foam of some kind. Maybe the move in will cost about $5000 or more. And that's only a two year lease. I can afford it, sort of. Just because I have the money doesn't mean I have it to blow on something I will only use for 2 years. That seems like an incredible waste of $5,000. And I'm not comfortabel asking for a 3 year lease because that would prevent me from being able to buy a house in a couple years while the housing values are down (house values may only tank for another year or two before they start to climb again).

On the other hand, I will have a private floor of my own (even if I have a roommate) with a bedroom, an office, a little storage and a private deck with this view:

great party

Today's party was a delight! All the girls would "oooooooh" and "aaaaaaah!" every time I showed them a new trick they were about to learn. They kept saying things like "this is so fun" and "this is so exciting" and they were laughing so hard at each other at times that they actually fell over onto each other. They even had my favorite kind of client. There was a girl in the party who said at the start that she was too scared and nervous to do it and was afraid of looking foolish. By half way into the party she was dancing and spinning and had a huge smile on her face like she loved every minute of it and was delighted by her accomplishments. You can't ask for anything more fulfilling from a party!

On the down side, these girls did what the last party did. They got my e-mail confirmation with instructions and the address and ignored it. Then they googled for me online to find my address, found my mailing address, and showed up at my PO Box. I do everything possible to prevent this. I do not have my mailing address on my website. I never give my clients my mailing address. I don't include my mailing address in my confirmation either. I go to great lengths to make sure my clients never get their hands on my mailing address so that they don't show up there by mistkae. But if they go out of their way to google and research and manage to dig up my mailing address from sites that I don't have any control of, there is nothing I can do about it. I just wish they wouldn't waste their time researching on the internet to find the wrong address. If they forgot to save my address, I wish they would just call or e-mail before the party and tell me they forgot to save it.
