changed my hair...again!

Rather than cover all of my blonde streaks with a new color, I had just the lower half of the blonde streaks colored. It kind of has that dipped in color look to it. Normally you can't see the blond bits so much as you can in this picture (below) because the blonde with green ends is an under-layer. But in this picture I used a barrette to pull up the natural brown hair to reveal much more of the blonde with green ends on the side. Without the barrette in, it just looks like the underlayer of my hair is teal green (as it does in the back in this picture).

imflying did it for me at her shop. She used 80% fishbowl blue and 20% sonic green. Ironically, the color came out EXACTLY the same as the hair extensions I had taken out. I had no idea that would happen.

costuming

Folks are telling me how many things there will be at the dealer room at Norwescon that I will want to buy. So it makes more sense to me to save my money to spend at con than to spend money on costumes for con.

And since my club clothes lean heavily toward belly dancer style, I've discovered that I can easily put together 3 different very gothy belly dancer costumes. I've got chainmail, coined hip scarves, my bullet belt, fringe and shredded skirts, and lots of PVC to compliment them. So I'll be a goth belly dancer during the days, but I have no idea what to wear in the evenings. I'll probably just goth it up more.

I have no idea how to do tribal make-up though. I mean I've got pictures from the internet, but I'm not able to do them on myself.
