Red Headed Kitten

lots to do, lots to look forward to

New contract notes are back from my attorney to review, I can't wait to get going on this. Sunday is the day that we get the software on my new laptop computer and transfer over my files from my desktop. Oddly I'm more excited about the idea of computing from bed than I am about computing from a coffee shop. I've already started working on the new registration announcement for the September classes. I'm trying a new system where I teach for three weeks, take a week off from teaching, teach for three weeks and take another week off. I won't be able to do this for the November/December session but it's a good experiment to try and maybe it will work again in 2008.

As wedding season slows down I finally have the first Saturday night off in weeks. You would think I'd be dying to go dancing. But I went dancing last night, so instead I'm going to a CD release party (for one of my favorite spiritual speakers) with a friend I haven't had time to see in ages. Last night while I was dancing I did a ton of belly dance moves. I've always wanted to be able to do that, now I finally know enough moves. Plus I had the bullet belt on, which is quite heavy. So it makes belly dancing a bit like weight lifting. I recommend wearing a bullet belt on the dance floor for anyone who wants a good workout.

I have a pole party tonight and then I can relax. Anyone want to go have dinner with me after 9:30 tonight? My room and home office are a disaster, I've let them go due to some recent stress. But the organizer/coach is coming a week from today and I know that will force me to get this place cleaned up. So as you can see, I have a lot of work to do and a lot to look forward to.

I was just getting ready to mail the feedback forms from my workshop to DiscoverU. Here is some of the feedback I got for my workshop:

"Instructor taught routines at a friendly pace. Non-intimidating environment. Great class experience."

"Makes me want more!"

"Really fun and informative."

"This was a great experience and I would recommend it to friends."

"The instructor was great."

and my favorite...

"She makes it really fun! And the content was really there."

I love that people are talking about my "content" and how "informative" it was. I don't just teach sensual moves and pole dancing any more. I teach about working out, muscle grouping and use, the difference between trying to look sexy and actually dancing from your own sensual expression, and for those who prefer to dance for a partner, how to make that experience more fun and more intimate. I keep gathering more and more knowledge as I go and I just love sharing it with the students.
