socks and cat

an unhappy customer, and one very happy one

First, I'm glowing from an e-mail I got from one of my pole party attendees. It says:

"The class was a total blast, thank you. You're an excellent teacher, with a real ability to make it fun, and break it down into do-able pieces. And we've all taken plenty of dance classes (swing, Zydeco, etc.) in the past so we know good and bad teaching. You were super."

I also got an e-mail from an unhappy student. Guess what, she's one of the gals who showed up for a private lesson directly after they all had cocktails. Her letter was very polite to me, just letting me know that she didn't get what she hoped for. I explained to her that while they are fun and empowering, my private lesson classes are still formal fitness classes. I told her that if she would like to attend sober, I'd certainly be happy to and better able to provide her with the kind of experience she was looking for.
