spin! spin! spin!

The results of yesterday's shoot just came in. But since I'm already up an hour past the time I should be, I won't have time to look at them until tomorrow. I did download one real quick for a sneak preview:

Previous to this shoot I already had shots of me doing all kinds of climbing and acrobatic tricks. But I've never had any good ones of me doing spins. Looks like that might finally change. Hopefully there are a few more good spinning ones in the bunch.

I saw a woman walk on the ceiling!

Given the second half of the semi-finals I saw last night at Fenix Underground, I have come to the conclusion that the three most acrobaticly talented pole dancers in Seattle are Fiona, Pantera and Allegra. Last night Pantera did her pole dancing blindfolded for part of her routine. And Allegra (also my former pole coach) did her ENTIRE pole routine blindfolded.

And really I thought I had seen it all when it comes to all these jaw dropping tricks. But last night I was proven wrong. One gal climbed to the top...flipped upside down...put her legs up to the ceiling (holding on to the pole with her hands)...and proceeded to walk circles around the pole ON THE CEILING! *boggle* Oh yes, CageKitten must learn this trick. It might be a year or two before I'm advanced enough to try this. But I captured it on AVI video and I will study it and I will learn it, no matter how many years it takes me. I will walk on the ceiling dammit!

Since you all wanted to see it

Per my previous post regarding the gal who can flip upside down on the pole, plant her feet on the ceiling and walk a circle around the pole on the ceiling...here is the video of her actually doing that: Collapse )

Video is approximately 4 minutes long. I'd say it's work safe just because it's so dark and grainy and small (and she's wearing a bikini type outfit).
