Shopping, movies, snuggles, birthday, acrobat...yeah...a great weekend!

I got to spend time with some wonderful people this weekend and I ended it feeling all happy and loved. :) Saturday sweetestkiss and I did some shopping. Then we went to djxavier13 and fairygirl70's barbeque and movie night. I got much snuggles as well as seeing Blade Runner (I've seen it before) and Kung Fu Hustle (which I really enjoyed).

Sunday darkmane and I had lunch at Chevy's in Alderwood. I had something I've never tried before: crab flautas with mango salsa and jalapeno jelly (not hot). It was to die for! If I ever have occasion to eat out again, I'm going all the way to Alderwood just to have that again! Afterward was stillbourne's birthday gathering. We went to Pacific Place to see the free Teatro Zinzani performance. More pictures from all that can be seen by clicking the cut below or the smaller two pics below.

Happy birthday Stillbourne!

Exotic Erotic Ball

I really shouldn't turn down this offer again this year. Once again I've been invited to be a go-go dancer at San Francisco's famous Exotic Erotic Ball. But it's not a paying gig, so once again I'm I really want to pay $200 for a flight down there to do this? I do get a free VIP pass, worth $125. And this year they've offered to sweeten the deal by giving me a free hotel room. So the conversation last night went something like this:

Jai: So are you going to do it this year?

Me: I'd say it's about a 20% chance of yes at this point.

Jai: Don't you want to dance in front of 13 thousand people?

Me: All 13 thousand people at this event are not going to be watching me.

Jai: Yes they will. You'll be up on the main stage.

Me: People aren't just there to watch the stage. They'll be dancing and shopping and drinking and taking pictures. 13 thousand people will not be watching me dance.

Jai: You're right. Probably only 5 thousand will be watching you at one time.

Me: ... (shocked silence)

Jai: So?

Me: ...I'll think about it.

So I'm thinking about it. I don't want to pay for a flight. And I don't want to drive my own car (I did that already in 2003). I think I'll go if some one else wants to drive and split the cost of gas. I can provide them with a free hotel room and possibly even a free VIP ticket to the ball. I'll have to look into it.
