kety surprised me with free tickets to the advanced screening of Eclipse tonight. I can't believe I got to see it before it got released in the the theatres! When we got there they searched all our bags and purses and confiscated all cell phones to make sure no one took any video. They also scanned us with portable metal detector paddles like the ones at the airport just to make sure we didn't hide any cell phones under our clothes.
Once inside I was shocked to see the theatre half empty. I know some people would kill for these tickets. But I also know when people get things for free they don't take them seriously and often don't show up for them. So they probably gave out enough passes to fill the theatre but half the people didn't show up.
We enjoyed the movie and afterward a student interviewed us to find out what we thought of it (for an article or something). When he asked us what we would change about it Michelle said she didn't think Bella should have to choose between Jacob and Edward since she loves them both. She said they should just be polyamorous and all be together. I backed her up on this. The interviewer looked at us like we were insane.
