Goth Cinderella

I haven't found a ride to Portland yet for the Vampire Ball, but hope springs eternal! I'm taking the gown I purchased in December to the cleaners today to have it hemmed in time for the ball. The dress is very unusual and gothy and sexy as hell. I feel like Cinderella now, I have the perfect gown and all I need now is a pumpkin coach to take me to the ball.

Have fun at the ball. Say hello for me to Chris & Kambriel if you run into them (they are clothing designers that used to live in Salem) :)
There are people from the noc going. I'll ask how full the SUV is so far. And if we don't have space for you in the SUV, I can probably just bring my car as well and we'll head down in convoy.

My car is yellow. Like a pumpkin :-)

I would love that so much. Thank you!
There is a (small) chance there aren't enough seats even with my car, but I'll check and let you know.
I'm a tiny girl, not even 100 pounds! Hope you can squeeze me in!
Argh, plans at this end are falling apart, we're most likely down a car and I'm not sure what's happening. The good news is that the train is fairly affordable. $20 to $40 each way, depending on how far in advance you book. I know that at least one person is just taking the train. I'd recommend that as a solid Plan B, or a reliable Plan A.

As for me, I think I'll probably drive, but I only have a small car - just one passenger seat, and I don't know if that seat is free until I get a decision from the girl I'm dating whether she's coming.

Heh, you probably could both fit in the passenger seat, but it might not be as much fun once it's a few hours into the trip. And two hot girls in the passenger seat... that might be too distracting :-)

Trains required that you lift your own luggage up the steps of the train and then lift your luggage onto a rack and leave it there. Due to my recent surgery I am unable to lift luggage. :( I could try it but it could put me at risk of injuring the muscles that were operated on.
