Just a day or two away from buying a computer that actually works

My computer degradation has now accelerated to freezing up or randomly rebooting every 10 to 20 minutes. I think I'll count myself as lucky if it lasts another week or two.

Here is the new system I selected on Dell's website. With the $100 rebate it comes to $700. I have the order on hold but haven't placed it yet. I'm still trying to decide if I should pay for it with money I got for Christmas or save that money for rent and stuff (since my unemployment runs out in two weeks) and finance the computer instead. There's no interest until 2005 and I fully intend to pay it off before then. Here it is:

Dell dimension 4600

17" monitor

Intel ® Pentium® 4 Processor 2.8GHz w/533MHz FSB

256MB Dual Channel DDR SDRAM at 333MHz (2x128M)

80GB2 Ultra ATA/100 Hard Drive (7200 RPM)

Dual CD Drives: 16x DVD-ROM Drive + FREE UPGRADE! 48x CD-RW Drive

no speakers (because I have a pair already)

I also found some one selling this system, still new in the box, for only $350. I'm wondering if I should get this one instead:

Dell dimension 2400 Microtower
Intel celeron 2.4ghz CPU with 400mhz FSB
256Mb DDR 333mhz
40gb hard drive
CDRW drive with DVD combo
worperfect productivity suite 11.0
paint shop pro 4.0 standard
microsoft encyclopedia 2004
microsfot money
Logitech PS2 mouse
Altec lansing ADA215 speakers
quietkey keyboard

all software are legit and original from dell.
Comes with 1 year warranty from dell (this system is unopen that came straight from dell, but is a refurbish system)
You will have an option of letting a A+ certified computer technician to test and preload the software.

My note: I don't think it comes with a monitor so I just e-mailed him to ask if it does. Regardless of whether it does or it doesn't...

Which system do you think I should buy? Keep in mind I plan to use this for the next 3 to 5 years.
