Belly dancer headshop

Should I buy this?

Every year at Norwescon I feel like I want to top the costume I wore the previous year. I think this might do it! This metal bra below was made by the same artist who made the metal bra I wore to Norwescon last year (pictured here).

I love it for many reasons. For one the style makes it incredibly flattering for a girl of modest chest size and no cleavage. And believe me, there aren't many metal bras that do that. It also works for both a goth belly dance costume AND a steampunk belly dancer because of the copper colored bits. It can eventually be made into a warrior princess costume (maybe for next year's con). I also anticipate getting years worth of costume use out of it. And finally, I'm a huge fan of Akasha (which the costume it was modeled after).

The metal bra is, however, insanely expensive. So much so that I'm ebarrassed to admit I'm actually considering purchasing it. But I am. So please cast your votes...

Buy this bra for Norwescon and future costume use...

It looks like it's a reproduction of Akasha's costume in Queen of the Damned.
That's what it is.
I think it's a great piece, but it would probably prompt a chain reaction of purchasing other pieces. at least, that's what I would do in your situation. to me, I would then think, "oh, now I need to balance it out with some shiny bracelets" and then "hmm... the waist/hips could use some razzle dazzle..." and probably "my head/hair needs something, or a lot of smaller things..." :p

if you already have things lying about that you think would go with it, then totally. :)
I voted yes, becuase, as you said, it's quite hard to find something that flatters a smaller chested woman such as this would. Thus, you should go for it.
I think Akasha's costume in Queen of the Damned is very neat. I don't think this bra is. It needs some changes.
I voted no just because I thought Queen of the Damned right away, and I usually associate you with unique. It looks cool though.
