last night

I almost skipped last night's party because I was so tired. But I'm so glad I didn't! There were lots of people that I not only knew, but really enjoy hanging out with. There weren't tons of tempting treats like I was afraid there would be. There were actually healthy munchies like veggies and dips and cheese and crackers. The host even provided my favorite all natural soda sweetened with stevia! Oh yes...and a pole!

The gal that brought the pole could not pole dance and left early. So that made my pole performance the main event! The entire party came to a stop and everyone came downstairs where the pole is to watch me perform. This made me so nervous I was actually shaking a little bit. But I rocked that pole and even got to show a couple new tricks! And at the end I was blown away by applause and the length of it! It's quite an experience to have an entire party stop to see you do what you love, and then have the entire party break out in applause and appreciation for it. Doesn't get much better than that. :)

There should be a pole at EVERY party.
