Kitty blockade and his favorite new toy
For Monday night's private lesson I moved the kitty blockade to a different spot where I thought he wouldn't be able to jump over it this time. I am pleased to report that it was a success! My instructor told me she could hear him whining from behind the blockade (which was hidden from students by a curtain). But he was free to roam the upstairs rather than being locked in a room during the lesson, which was the goal. He just wasn't allowed downstairs until the lesson ended. Here is a pic of the blockade, made of all kinds of things from around the house, including boxes. Note the forlorn kitty at the bottom of the blockade.

Vader has a new favorite toy! Since he so enjoys dragging around and tearing apart my feather boas (I have to hide them now) I got him a toy with a bright hot pink feather boa piece at the end. Oh wow does he LOVE this toy. He makes chirpy hunter sounds every time he sees it. He goes wild for it while we play. And when I try to put it away, he sits and stares at it and meows until I come out and use it to play with him more. No other toy has him meowing like that. So here he is, my little diva with his favorite pink boa toy:

And that Vader (even as a "guy") does love feather boas is just another sign how perfect he is for you.
And the bright colours compliment his fur. XD
