It happened again, another girl driving up and down 15th trying to find me. This time it was some one who wanted to see the studio first before she put down a deposit for a pole party. I e-mailed her back and told her I could be here anytime before 5:30pm and let me know what time she wanted to come by. So what did she do? She didn't reply to my e-mail to let me know what time to meet me here. Instead, she just left at a time that would get her here before 5:30 and then drove up and down 15th -- without my address -- looking for the studio. Needless to say, she couldn't find it.

Why? Why? WHY do people do this??

Because, dear one, people as a whole are generally morons. Try working in a restaurant for a day and you learn this the hardest way possible.

Just accept that some of your clients are idiots and there's nothing you can do about that. You gave them the information they needed, they're the ones who are too stupid to use it.
I keep thinking there is something deeper than that. Like an actual reason or motivation.

People like to be coddled and yet, are too stupid to notice when you're trying to make their life easier.

It's just nature. I just hope those ones never breed.
That is odd when having a GPS is starting to become so common (at least it is here)
Maybe you need a bigger sign. :)
I don't have a sign yet, which is why my directions always include the names of the businesses on either side of me (they have signs).

Becuase people always think a pole dancing studio will stand out, when they're almost always don't. I'm not sure I'd want a pole dancing place to stand out, actually.
