retail therapy

Last week was pretty stressful, and my favorite and most effective way to relieve stress is retail therapy. So I ordered something sexy for myself. I originally saw this in a store in Capitol Hill when emailerin and I were shopping together. I fell in love with it, but it was overpriced at $39 per piece. Maybe I'm still a bargain hunter, but I won't pay $39 for any pair of panties unless they can give me a back massage and do the dishes before I even put them on. So emailerin whips out her phone with internet access and finds them online for about half the cost of the store. Here are the lovely items that just arrived this week:

If you look closely, you can see the skull and cross bones on them. My femme goth side loves the skull and cross bone and lace combo!

I ordered this skirt too, but in turquoise to match the above set. You can see the skull and cross bones better in this picture:

Surprisingly, even though they are "one size fits all", they actually fit me. And they were a tax deduction as well since I'll be wearing them when I do a pole dance performance and promote my business at the Strip-O-Rama charity event on Friday and amateur night at Deja Vu in February (the DJ always plugs my business when I do amateur night with my advanced students, which makes the entire night a marketing expense and tax deduction - including what I wear when I perform). I might even be able to get away with wearing this to the fetish club. So I'll get lots of use out of it!
