I should not have prayed for a good estimate from the installer. I should have just prayed that he showed up at all. The carpet liquidators guy showed up 50 minutes later. He was a kid with very little floor experience. He appeard to be 19 years old, but he could have been 20 or possibly 21 at the most. Clearly he just knows how to do standard easy jobs. He didn't even know how to lay the carpet tiles, he tried to tell me they have to be glued down (they are designed to NOT be glued down). He didn't know how to get shoe molding against the concrete wall. He clearly knew NOTHING except how to do a standard, super easy house type job. He just told me he couldn't do the job at all.
Thanks for nothing Carpet Liquidators. Thanks for selling me $1,000 worth of flooring that your installers don't even know how to install.
