Oy

So it turns out Design Trends wants $3,000 to install my floors, including the laminate. And that's probably only 500 square feet (maybe more). I already paid $1,000 this morning just for 135 square feet of carpet. I just didn't expect the floors to cost $4,000. I was hoping to do the entire studio, curtains and lights and poles and all, for $5,000. Installation has to start in a week. I'm now dialing all the contractors I had consults with.

And I still have to have laminate installed in the private lesson studio upstairs. I don't have a quote for that yet.
