For those that took part in the "How much did I spend on internet?" poll, the grand total for the week was $109.80. Not nearly as bad as I thought.
I did manage to spend almost $1,000 while on the cruise. Food and tea and coffee are included on the cruise. But other drinks are not. And there is a daily service charge of $10 to cover tipping (so you don't have to worry about tipping anyone unless you want to tip above and beyond the $10 per day).
If you want to see how some one can spend $1,000 in a week, you can see my bill here: http://pics.livejournal.com/cagekitten/pic/001cb096 Where ever you see an "Ocean Bar" charge, that's $1.90 for a bottle of water (I never purchased any alcohol on the cruise). All my other excursions are not on the bill, because I paid for them in advance before the cruise. And all the other excursions were much less expensive than the helicopter ride to the glacier for the dog sledding.
Cruises really are surprisingly inexpensive, not counting the on board charges and some of the pricier excursions.
