It's a done deal

The lease has been signed

All my doubts are gone. I feel fantastic about this. I can't believe I'm about to move to such a...well..."grown up" place. No more apartments. Now it's a swank townhome with my own commercial space downstairs. And in two years when the lease is up, I'll be ready to buy. Who knows, maybe I'll even buy THIS place. Granted $999,500 seems way out of my price range right now. But if you had told me two years ago that in 2008 I would be pre-approved to purchase a half a million dollar home, I would have asked you what you were smoking. So I have definitely learned that anything is possible. Maybe I will take out a business loan or maybe Quicksilver1 will buy it with me or maybe I'll acquire a business partner or some one who wants to invest in the business by purchasing the property with me.

Here is another look at my floor:

The amazing thing is that the commercial space is a storefront studio on one of Seattle's busiest streets. Yet the back of the building and the bedrooms are overlooking a very quiet, residential neighborhood. I get the best of both worlds in one place.
