Thank you for all the references to your mortgage brokers and real estate agents. I contacted one broker from your list and will contact another if she and I are not a fit. I really do LOVE the idea of combining my home and studio on a property I own. It just feels right. And I just don't see the point to renting a studio and putting thousands of dollars into the decor and equipment when you could lose it at the end of your lease or have your rent price raised too high at the end of the lease. I think owning is the way to go. And working from home makes the most sense when gas is going to be up to $4 a gallon.
