Got my tickets

I am now the proud owner of a round trip stand by ticket to Anchorage Alaska. But apparently I'm not the only one who decided to show up to the airport 2 hours before the midnight deadline to pay the flight taxes. There were about 60 to 70 people in line ahead of me. The total for the tickets was $118. I checked online and the actual cost for flights to Anchorage in May start at $500. So yeah, that's a great deal I got there.

Time to plan a trip to Anchorage. Although Alaska Airlines does give me 90 days to change my mind and choose a new destination (and 90 days after that to use the tickets before they expire).
