Girl who dances in a cage

The teaching style of my exotic dance instructor has really improved since the last time. She is more focused and can teach longer. Her secret? Adderall for her ADD. Normally I prefer not take brain altering drugs. I've had medication prescribed for my ADD before and it landed me in the ER one night. I learned the hard way that the way western medicine treats ADD and other illnesses related to brain function is by just throwing all kinds of brain altering drugs at you without any idea how badly they will screw you up. Trial and error basically. So I avoid any kind of brain altering medications. But Adderall is working great for her and it seems to work well for others. So I decided I would give it a try.

But then I looked it up on the internet. A primary ingredient in Adderall is amphetamines. I was tried a medication that I did not know had amphetamines in it. To say that it made me sick would be an understatement. Two days after I took it I was still sick and it resulted in me passing out at the job I had at the time. But lets assume for a moment that I just had too much amphetamine and maybe Atterall has a smaller steady dose that won't make me pass out in the middle of a pole class that I'm teaching. Amphetamines are addictive. The idea of taking an addictive medication, or being involved with anything addictive, is truly terrifying. I won't even drink anything caffeinated for that very reason. I don't know that trying it is worth the risk.
