not sure what to do

I have been invited to the International Pole Federation launch in Las Vegas. The IPF (for short) was established to help maintain standards in the pole dancing industry by providing guidelines suggested by the best dancers from around the world. Basically our industry is growing so quickly that they need to set up some world wide rules to govern us.

The launch of this thing includes dinner, networking and performances by pole instructors. And what do you know, I just happen to have a stand by ticket to Vegas and back. The only problem is that this event is the same week I'm supposed to start classes. If I push back classes by a week so I can go, my classes for the entire year would be pushed back, forcing December's classes to end too close to Christmas (in which case no one would sign up because the Christmas season is just not the time that people spend money on classes).

I'm at a bit of a loss for what to do and brainstorming for ideas. I may have to create some kind of "intensive" session where classes are twice per week for 3 weeks instead of once per week for 6 weeks. This would prevent me from doing private lessons on those weeks, which might not make my private students happy. But honestly, if I don't use this ticket to Vegas now, there's a good chance I'll just let it expire and lose out on my chance to use that roundtrip flight to Vegas for only $60. I really want to go! And most of my expenses on this trip would be tax deductible.
