decisions...decisions...

I still have not been able to decide between the iAudio X5 and the the Zen Vision:M. It seems to me that if you're going to spend $300 on something that you should get to test it out for a few hours first. But that not being the case, I feel like I'm just taking my chances.

Honestly, I'm buying more than I need to. What the heck do I need the video capabilities for? Does anyone download t.v. shows and watch them on their music player?

There are two deciding factors, and I'm not sure where to get this information:

1. The iAudio X5 comes with software that converts the format of movies. Does that include converting AVI to Mpeg? Because I've been looking forever for software that will do that.

2. If I don't buy the iAudio X5, what will I use to convert my cassette collection to mp3? Is there another device or software to do this if your mp3 player doesn't?
